Liz is a multiple award-winning author who has a deep love of traveling, the people of the world and their dynamic histories, and reading and writing. She holds a B.A. from John Cabot University, Rome, in addition to a M.A.T. and M.A. in World History from Georgia State University. Her first two romances feature characters with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease. Lupus has had a significant impact on her on a personal level since before her diagnosis in 2009. From Atlanta, she now lives in Metro-Detroit with her Chinese-American husband, daughter, and adorable Pomeranian.

Liz’s debut novel, THE VAMPIRE INSIDE ME, was second place finalist in Forever Publishing’s, “All Love, All Voices” Contest (2019), a Readers’ Favorite Five Star Review, a Women’s Health finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards (2021), a finalist in New Fiction (first time published) in the July 2021 Firebird Book Awards, and a second place Romance winner in the Summer 2021 Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards.

Liz’s YA novel, BUTTERFLIES & CHARACTERS, was the YA winner of the 2019 OCC RWA Orange Rose Contest, a Readers’ Favorite Five Star Review, a Young Adult Fiction finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards (2021), a finalist in Teen in the July 2021 Firebird Book Awards, and a first place Young Adult winner in the Summer 2021 Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards.
